#MedMon18 Mary Morgan With Even More Enchantment

Monday got you down? Let's make it medieval with a taste of the paranormal and Mary Morgan's highly acclaimed Dragon Knight Series! I have an excerpt from A Highland Moon Enchantment. In case you want to start with the first snippet in this excerpt, check out Lane McFarland's blog. I just got a sneak peak at the end and I have to tell you, either you can buy it right now or wait until the end but you're going to want to buy it. Enjoy ;)

Tam strode forward, holding a large log adorned with greenery. He bowed to everyone. “I bring the new to light with the old.”

They both wandered slowly, chanting words in a musical lilt, their robes flowing softly.

When they reached the empty hearth, Cathal produced a small piece of kindling and held it up high.

“Let us spark the light of Midwinter with the remains of the last Yule log.” He waved it in the air and the bit of wood sparked into flames.

The children gasped in awe and delight.

Tam set the new log on top of the other giant pieces of wood, and Cathal tossed the burning stick onto the log.

This warrior’s greatest challenge will come from within his own heart

Irish warrior, Desmond O’Quinlan has never surrendered his heart to any woman. He has no wish to have his soul tortured by love. Yet, the moment he locks gazes with Ailsa, his fate is destined for an adventure he never fathomed. He may have battled alongside a Dragon Knight, but his greatest challenge will come from within his own heart.

Ailsa MacDuff, a warrior among her clan, has no desire to have a man chain her to a life of obedience. However, that is before she meets Desmond. The temptation to allow this warrior inside her heart is a risk she dares to take, but one that could lead to a future of emptiness and sorrow.

When betrayal looms from within, the battleground of love is no match for these two warriors. Can the power of a Highland full moon be strong enough to unite or destroy them?
