#MedMon18 Love Conquers All with Sherry Ewing

Hey! Its Monday and it's a beautiful day. Let's have some medieval romance with Sherry Ewing. I have a snippet from Only for You. If you missed last week's bit, you can still check out Laurel O'Donnell's blog. I love this "sputtering away in Norman French." That's great! And this cover is gorgeous. Enjoy ;)

Katherine listened as Marguerite began sputtering away in Norman French. It was apparent the lady wasn’t pleased, and she supposed, if she were standing in the woman’s shoes, she might have felt the same. Her arguments continued, with Riorden now joining in, as the two verbal combatants began shouting at one another. Katherine’s eyes narrowed, and her brow furrowed when Marguerite began shaking her fist in her direction. This aggressive act was followed by laughter, leaving Katherine wondering what she had said. Based upon Riorden’s reaction, Katherine could only surmise that she had just insulted his wife.

Follow along next week with the next snipped on Elisabeth Hobbes’ blog

Sometimes it’s hard to remember that true love conquers all only after the battle is over…

Katherine de Deveraux has it all or so she believes when she begins her life with her husband Riorden. But as she starts to settle into her duties as the Countess of Warkworth Castle, she finds that an easy life is not only difficult but downright dangerous to her well-being.

Consumed with the haunting memories of his father, Riorden must deal with his sire’s widow who just happens to also be his ex-lover. Yet how could he know just how far Marguerite is willing to go in order to have the life she feels they were truly meant to live?

Torn apart by circumstances neither Katherine nor Riorden could ever imagine, Time becomes their true enemy even while Marguerite continues her ploy to keep Riorden at her side. With all hope lost, will Katherine and Riorden find a way to save their marriage and have their happily ever after ending, or will Katherine be whisked back to where Time truly feels she belongs?
